The group have always demonstrated a commitment to reducing their carbon footprint and have previously implemented initiatives such as LED lighting and 100% green electricity purchasing.

Achieving carbon neutrality further demonstrates this commitment to their customers and supply chain.

FCW have a long-standing relationship of over 10 years with energy and carbon specialists – ECA business energy and worked with ECA on becoming carbon neutral over the last few months.

Working with FCW, ECA calculated the carbon footprint for the group across all 3 scopes, created and implemented a comprehensive carbon management plan and invested in verified carbon offsetting programs.

The implementation of the carbon management plan will see the group committing to reducing their emissions to agreed targets as set out in the plan year on year moving forwards.

“FCW have always demonstrated their commitment to the environment throughout our 10 years working alongside them.  By formalising this commitment, they will be actively reducing their emissions year on year as well as offsetting any outstanding emissions. We look forward to helping them on their ongoing environmental journey.”
